The Jolly Yuletide Season

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006

This the season to be jolly, falalalalalalalala… It’s that time of year again!!! It’s the 25th of Dec (although I’m writing this only now :P ), Christmas!! I love everything about it! I had already put up the Christmas Tree by myself earlier this month. I remember the time when my 2nd brother would decorate it with me, it was really fun… *sigh* those were the times. This Christmas our family spent our time with my reletives from my mother’s side, it’s been such a long time since we were all together. All my cousins from Singapore came too. We had Christmas dinner together at a chinese restaurant (even though I wished we could have had a traditional Christmas dinner with turkey and all…). Then later at night we sang carols together, after that we headed home at about 10:30)
That morning, we were in Church for Christmas Service, and this was the first time Prisca was worship leading :) ! I was on backup. Then our Youth Fellowship had a short comedy sketch, which was fun, even with a few hicups here and there :P Well…
Merry Christmas Everyone! (Written on 25th Dec 2005)

Camping in school….

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006

The word camp has changed a lot since the time of our fore-fathers. Long before our time, camping involved tents, fires, cooking(ok, maybe we did do some of that) and back-to-nature stuff. Sadly, camps now are just spending a few nights out of the house excluding beds. Once again, my school’s LPGM (lembaga penyelaras gerak murid-murid) has it’s annualy "Kem Belajar" on the 21st Dec 2005(I know… I’m a little behind time). I joined it last year as a normal camp member, while this year I get to be in the organising committee. Personally, it wasn’t as fun as last year’s, but it was fun being in the committee, they even used the theme I suggested (which was very long and in English, which has never been done before) : "Midnight Sonata in Our Hearts". It was a combination of "Winter Sonata" and "Autumn in my Heart", 2 korean dramas that I happen to like. Anyway, the overall camp was fine. I especially like the part where we got to play with water :P while it was raining too.
