Clips from Goblet of Fire!

Sunday, October 30th, 2005

Well, I was checking out the Harry Potter Malaysian Fan Club’s website for new news. And there were clips from the movie that were posted there. I know I should wait until the movie comes out and stuff, but I just couldn’t resist it! But the clips were great!! I just can’t wait for the movie!!!
There were clips of the Yule Ball, Harry & Cho, the ferret scene, Rita Seeker and much more! If you wanna see them too, just visit www.harrypotter-my.tk and download the clips from there. But if you don’t want to spoil the excitement, then just ignore it. But it’s great I tell you, GREAT!!! I love it so much!!!

Knitting is so cool!

Tuesday, October 18th, 2005

You will not believe me when I say I’ve started knitting. Well, it’s true. I was browsing the internet to see if there were any cheap Harry Potter costumes for sale, then came across a site that teaches you how to knit your very own Harry Potter Scarf. Of course I didn’t understand a thing, but with an experience Guru on my side (aka Mum), it was actually quite easy. The main thing is to have a lot of patience, cuz I’ve been working on it the whole day, and managed to do 2 inches. But no matter, exams are over now and I have all the time in the world to finish it. I hope to finish it by the time "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" releases in cinemas, cuz I’m meeting up with my HPMFC pals and we’re going to dress up and go watch the movie.
When my friends see me knit, they keep making comments that I’m getting old, cuz they think only grannies knit. I can’t wait for my scarf to be completed. Harry Potter Rox!!!

Freedom!! Or not…

Exams are finally over!! YaY!…. Now all I have to worry about is the results……come to think of it, it’s just a better sweet moment right now. So, anyway, today we had fill in forms to register for next year’s SPM. Besides my usual 10 subjects, I’ll be taking Art and EST as extra. Had to get the teacher’s permission before I could take them. No problem with Art, but for EST- BIG! BIG! PROBLEM!! They won’t let me take it!! Why!? Just because I’m an Art stream student, doesn’t mean I can’t take it!! After going from one teacher to another, they told me to ask her, then ask another…. Finally I’m directed to PK 1 (Mr Lee Veng Fok aka Fishball). He also said cannot, said that this subject is for Sains classes, that it’s a very hard subject(for those who are taking this subject would know it’s damn like English, and English is so my thing!), it was as though he’s saying I’m very stupid! Just because I’m from Art stream, they think we are all stupid! I hate him! As he blabbered it to other teachers that pass us, I couldn’t help it. I was so crushed and so looked down upon! I couldn’t hold my tears(you would cry to if it happened to you, or at least you’ll be really angry). No matter how hard I tried to tell that I could do it and that I wanted it really badly, there was nothing more I could do.
As a last resort, I had to call my parents to speak on my behalf(no grown-up will ever take us seriously, I hate them for that). Low and behold, he reconsidered and asked us to see the HM, and get his approval. It is so much less stressful with a grown-up. So he said he’ll consult my English teachers and see my performance so far(which are all As, not that I’m bosting), then asked me to see him tomorrow. Well…. At least there’s hope left….

Choir Performance

Saturday, October 1st, 2005

OMG!! Exams are around the corner! Just 2 more days to go and I’ve got like tons more to study! I know what you’re thinking, then why am I still on the com now!!?? Well, just to share a little bit more before I go. Last Tuesday, my school’s choir team performed at Royal Adelphi for some Sporting Award Ceremony by MILOTM and Bryan Nickson was there! (For those who don’t know who he is, well he represented M’sia in diving during the Olympics Games, and was the youngest there, he’s only 15!) We performed the songs we sang for Pesta Muzik. Btw, the food there sucks! For a 5 star hotel, you’d expect more, but yuck! I don’t even want to talk about it…

Anyway, a friend went to get Bryan’s autograph and he gave to her! Then later the guys (in the choir team) went to get one of the girl’s phone number and autograph. (She was one of the winner’s, don’t really know who she is but, she’s pretty. Maybe that’s why the guys were so crazy over her.) She was in the middle of a photo shoot so she signed on his sleeves! Can you believe that? With her number too! Only one guy got that cuz there wasn’t time and we had to leave. If only Daniel Bego was there (he’s a swimmer)…. He’s was cuter and same age as me…. *starts dreaming away*
